I am a nurse and had no idea how corrective massage therapy could be until I began being treated by Mary Bohan Sather LMT.  For years I suffered with shoulder pain, and I tried just about everything; Chiropractor; Orthopedic MD; cortisone injections; physical therapy; as well as other massage therapists.  None of these approaches even touched the pain.  I made an appointment with Mary and in that first visit, she found that the pain was actually not originating from my shoulder at all!  The problem was in my neck the whole time!   She worked on my neck and the shoulder pain was instantly relieved.  I was also surprised to discover that my chronic headaches were related to this neck injury as well.  I am so grateful for Mary and her knowledge. She is a miracle worker. Headaches less frequent!  Shoulder pain gone!  All of this in an amazing setting with such a beautiful person.

Through Mary’s 4 week Enliven package, she reopened my playful and creative side. She encouraged me to be more mindful of my thoughts and to recognize the negative ones. I began to make time for the things that fill me up! Not to mention her massage and reiki which helped me reconnect to myself.

I always look forward to seeing Mary. Her personality is welcoming, and she makes you feel good about yourself. Her office is soothing and peaceful.
